Communion Stewardship Ministry volunteers prepare the Lord's supper for both morning services, the first Sunday of each month. They also clean-up the disposable cups in the sanctuary and wash the communion plates. Fellowship Ministry is made up of people who work together primarily to facilitate opportunities for people in our congregation to join together in times of fellowship.
Community Outreach Ministry offers a well stocked food bank and a benevolent fund for those in our congregation and community in need.
Good Cheer Ministry endeavors to reach out to individuals and families in the congregation during times of joy, and special occasions, such as births, anniversaries, or birthdays. They also respond with care and concern during convalescent times, hospital stays and sickness, or the loss of a loved one. They also work closely with the Meals Ministry.
Greeter's Ministry sets up volunteers to greet at the front doors on Sunday mornings to welcome everyone, new to or established at Roblin Wesleyan Church.
Library Ministry seeks to provide a varied lending library of inspiring books, CD's and DVD's. They are always looking to expand, so please free to donate new or gently used Christian resources to share with others.
Meals Ministry is meant to help our church family in need. They work along side the Good Cheer Ministry to coordinate meals for a person or family in need, due to health issues, family issues or a death in the family).
Membership Ministry is held twice a year for those wishing to become members of Roblin Wesleyan Church.
Missions Ministry supports many International and Local Missions both through the Wesleyan Church and other inter-denominational missions throughout the world. For more detailed information please see the middle insert entitled "Love sees no borders".
MOPS / MOPS NEXT Ministry (Mothers of Preschoolers), is a group of mothers that get together the second and fourth Wednesday of each month for fun and fellowship with one another. Childcare is provided for toddlers and up.
Music Ministry provides the worship music for each Sunday as well as opportunities to serve in the RWC Orchestra and Choir. This runs throughout the year as well as holiday musicals and plays. As well, each year a variety of Christian musical groups perform in the church.
Nursing Home Ministry is geared to our faithful friends who live at Adair place in Tamworth, Village Green in Selby, the John Parrott Centre in Napanee, and Friendly Manor in Deseronto. Regular services are held to minister God's Word, through song and word, to encourage the residents.
Prayer Ministry serves to provide several opportunities each week for prayer at the church. Tuesday's at 7:00 pm, Wednesdays at 7:00 am and 12:00 pm and Saturdays at 8:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. We also offer a prayer chain for urgent requests.
Small Group Ministries is for everyone! Any evening, during the day, men's groups, women's groups and family groups. Call the office for more information!
Sports Ministry - Volleyball is played in the gym from January to April. Shuffleboard and games will be starting for 50+ this year. Fundraising and Fun sports days for children, teens and adults also takes place throughout the year.
Sound, Technical and Projection Ministry aids in communication at RWC. Whether it is providing microphones and amplification for worship services, satellite seminars, special events, such as concerts, weddings, or youth functions, this behind-the-scenes ministry serves to provide an avenue for quality communication. A hearing impaired system is available.
Sunday School - On average there are 5 - 7 Sunday school classes running throughout the year, each with a different leader and topic. Throughout the year they meet at 10:15 - 10:55 am Sunday mornings and in July and August, 9:30 - 10:15 am. We encourage everyone to attend!
Ushering Ministry consists of people from the congregation willing to pass out bulletins and pertinent information before and during service. They assist in serving communion and step in to usher during special events, concerts, musicals and other ministry events.
Welcome Centre Ministry - Our welcome centre is the place to go and learn about our church and our programs. Situated in the foyer, this centre serves as a vital communication tool at Roblin Wesleyan. If you are new, please drop by to say "hello" and receive a small gift from us!
Wesleyan Men's Ministry - Men's breakfasts, guest speakers, events, both inside the church and out. Wesleyan men help to support the youth and people in our community with help such as, general house repairs.
Wesleyan Women's Ministry endeavors to bring women in our church closer to God and to each other through a series of programs and events held throughout the year.
